Vintage Zeiss Ikon Nettar 518/16 medium-format folding camera, made in Germany and dating from approximately the 1950s.
The camera has been tested and is working correctly.
It is in good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and previous use.
There is some light fungus visible on the front lens element. This is relatively minor and is unlikely to have a noticeable effect on normal photographs, although this cannot be guaranteed in every lighting situation. The optical condition has been clearly reflected in the listing.
The folding mechanism, shutter, aperture, focusing and film advance are functioning correctly.
The Nettar 518/16 uses readily available 120 roll film and produces 6 × 6cm square negatives, giving approximately 12 photographs per roll.
It is a fully mechanical camera with manual focus and exposure controls and does not require batteries.
A nice usable example of the classic Zeiss Ikon medium-format folding camera.
No film included.
