Vintage Yashica J 35mm rangefinder film camera, made in Japan and dating from approximately 1961.
The Yashica J is fitted with a fixed Yashinon 45mm f/2.8 lens and is a fully manual, mechanically operated camera.
This example is in very good cosmetic condition, with only light signs of age and previous use.
Unfortunately, the camera does not wind and does not fire, so it is being sold strictly as SPARES OR REPAIR.
Because of these faults, the camera has not been film tested and should be assumed to require repair or servicing before photographic use. No guarantee is made regarding any other mechanical functions.
Cosmetically, however, the camera presents particularly well and would also make an attractive display camera, restoration project, prop or source of spare parts.
The Yashica J uses readily available standard 35mm / 135 film and is completely mechanical, so no batteries are required.
No film is included.
