Vintage Kodak Six-20 Popular Brownie box camera, made in the UK and dating from approximately 1939–1943.
This example has been tested and is fully working.
The camera is in good vintage condition, with signs of age and previous use consistent with a camera of this period.
There is some dust visible in the viewfinder. This affects the clarity of the viewing system but does not affect the photographs themselves, as the reflecting viewfinder is separate from the taking lens.
The camera comes with its original box, which is a nice addition for collectors.
The Six-20 Popular Brownie uses 620 roll film and produces large 2¼ × 3¼ inch / approximately 6×9cm negatives. It features a simple meniscus lens, mechanical shutter and separate reflecting viewfinders for portrait and landscape composition.
The camera is completely mechanical and does not require batteries.
Please note that 620 film is now a specialist format. The film itself is the same width as 120 film but uses a different spool.
No film is included.
