Vintage Praktica PL Nova 1B 35mm SLR film camera fitted with a Meyer-Optik Görlitz Domiplan 50mm f/2.8 lens.
Produced from approximately 1967–1975 in East Germany, the PL Nova 1B is a solid fully mechanical SLR featuring the widely used M42 screw lens mount, mechanical focal-plane shutter and built-in selenium exposure meter.
This example has been film tested and is fully working.
The camera and lens are in good vintage cosmetic condition, with normal signs of age and previous use.
There is some light dust visible in the viewfinder. This is within the viewing system and does not affect the final photographs.
The included Meyer-Optik Görlitz Domiplan 50mm f/2.8 is a classic three-element standard lens with manual focusing and automatic aperture operation.
The camera uses standard 35mm / 135 film and is completely mechanical. The built-in selenium exposure meter generates its own electrical current from light, meaning no battery is required.
