The camera has been film tested and is fully working.
The built-in selenium light meter is also working. Unlike many later SLR cameras, the LB2's meter is powered by light and does not require a battery.
The camera body is in fair to good vintage cosmetic condition, with signs of age and previous use. There is some patina to the body, which is consistent with its age.
The viewfinder is clean overall, with just one visible dust spot.
The supplied Helios 44M-4 58mm f/2 lens is clean and functioning correctly. The focusing and aperture controls operate as expected and the optics are clean.
The Helios 58mm f/2 is a well-known Soviet-made standard lens, particularly popular for its distinctive rendering and characteristic background bokeh.
The camera is fully mechanical, with manual exposure control and shutter speeds up to 1/1000 second.
It uses readily available standard 35mm / 135 film.
No batteries are required.
No film is included.
