Olympus Trip XB40 AF 35mm Film Camera
A compact and easy-to-use Olympus autofocus point-and-shoot film camera introduced around 2000.
The Trip XB40 AF features a particularly wide 27mm f/6.3 Olympus lens, making it ideal for holidays, street photography, parties, group photographs and general everyday use.
Operation is largely automatic. Autofocus takes care of focusing while the camera automatically advances the film after each photograph and rewinds the film at the end of the roll.
A built-in automatic flash provides additional light when required, while the large optical viewfinder makes composing photographs straightforward.
Key Specifications:
• Standard 35mm / 135 film
• 24 × 36mm image format
• Olympus 27mm f/6.3 lens
• Autofocus
• Approx. 0.8m to infinity focusing range
• 1/100 second shutter
• DX automatic film-speed detection
• ISO 100–400 compatibility
• Built-in automatic flash
• Red-eye reduction
• Large optical viewfinder
• Automatic film advance
• Automatic film rewind
• Sliding lens cover
• Requires 2 × AA batteries
• Introduced around 2000
The wide 27mm lens is particularly useful for fitting more into the frame than many traditional compact film cameras.
