The Quickmatic 600 is an unusually well-specified camera for the 126 format, featuring an Olympus E.Zuiko 38mm f/2.8 lens, zone focusing and CdS-controlled automatic exposure.
This example has been tested and is working.
The camera is in very good vintage condition, with only normal light signs of age and previous use.
The lens is clean.
There is one small dust spot visible in the viewfinder. This does not affect the taking lens or the final photographs.
Focusing is selected using four distance settings, while the camera automatically controls exposure using two shutter speeds of approximately 1/40 and 1/125 second together with automatic aperture selection.
The camera was also designed to accept flashcubes through the socket on top of the body.
Please note that the Quickmatic 600 uses 126 cartridge film, which has been discontinued and is now a specialist vintage format.
The original camera used obsolete 1.35V mercury batteries for its exposure and flash systems.
No film is included.
