Nikaiyo FMD System Motor Drive 35mm Film Camera
A distinctive vintage Nikaiyo 35mm film camera dating from approximately the early 1990s.
The Nikaiyo FMD System has an SLR-style appearance but is actually a simple fixed-lens, fixed-focus 35mm camera designed for straightforward point-and-shoot photography.
It features a 50mm f/6.3 optical lens, fixed focusing and an approximately 1/125-second shutter.
FMD stands for Full Motor Drive. The camera uses an electric motor to automatically advance the film after each photograph and rewind it when required.
