Vintage Kodak Six-20 Junior folding roll-film camera, dating from approximately the 1930s.
This example is fitted with the correct Kodak Twindar f/11 lens and No. 0 Kodon mechanical shutter.
The camera has been tested and is working.
It is in good vintage cosmetic condition, with normal signs of age and previous use including some marks, wear and patina to the body and metal fittings.
The folding mechanism opens and closes correctly and the bellows present well for their age.
The No. 0 Kodon shutter has settings for 1/25, 1/50 and 1/100 second, together with B and T settings for longer exposures.
The Kodak Twindar f/11 lens has selectable apertures of f/11, f/16, f/22 and f/32.
Focusing is provided through two distance settings marked approximately 5–8 feet and beyond 15 feet, making this a straightforward camera to operate.
The camera also features a small rotating brilliant viewfinder and red-window frame counting on the rear.
It uses 620 roll film and produces large 6 × 9cm negatives, giving approximately 8 photographs per roll.
Please note that 620 film is an obsolete format. It uses the same width of film as modern 120 film but is wound onto a smaller spool. Enthusiasts can re-spool 120 film onto suitable 620 spools for use in cameras such as this.
The camera is entirely mechanical and does not require batteries.
No film is included.
