A classic Kodak Brownie Starlet compact roll-film camera dating from the 1950's
Part of Kodak's popular Star series, the Brownie Starlet was designed as a simple and straightforward snapshot camera. It uses 127 roll film and produces twelve square 4 × 4cm photographs from each standard roll.
The camera features a fixed-focus Kodak Dakon lens with two aperture settings, approximately f/11 and f/16, together with a simple mechanical rotary shutter.
There is no light meter, autofocus or electronic exposure system, making this a very simple fully mechanical vintage camera.
