Vintage Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash Model box camera, made in the USA and dating from approximately 1950–1961.
The camera has been tested and is working correctly.
It is in good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and previous use.
The Brownie Hawkeye Flash is one of Kodak's classic post-war Bakelite cameras and features a simple meniscus lens, large brilliant viewfinder and rotary mechanical shutter with Instantaneous and Bulb settings.
It uses 620 roll film and produces large 6 × 6cm / 2¼ × 2¼ inch square negatives, giving approximately 12 photographs per roll.
The Flash Model was designed to accept compatible Kodak flash attachments, although no flash attachment is included unless shown in the photographs.
Please note that 620 film is now an obsolete format. It uses the same width film as 120 but on a different spool.
The camera itself is completely mechanical and does not require batteries.
A nice usable example for photography, display or a vintage Kodak collection.
No film included.
