Kodak Brownie Flash III Vintage 1950s 620 Film Camera Tested Working
MAIN DESCRIPTION
Vintage Kodak Brownie Flash III box camera, made in the UK and dating from 1957–1960.
The camera has been tested and is working correctly.
It is in good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and previous use.
The Brownie Flash III features a Kodet f/14 lens, built-in close-up lens, yellow cloud filter and twin brilliant viewfinders.
The mechanical shutter includes an instantaneous setting together with a time-exposure facility, and the camera also has a tripod socket and cable-release connection for longer exposures.
It uses 620 roll film and produces large 6 × 9cm / 2¼ × 3¼ inch negatives, giving approximately 8 photographs per roll.
Please note that 620 film is now an obsolete format. It uses the same width film as modern 120 film but on a smaller spool. 120 film can be re-spooled onto suitable 620 spools by an experienced user.
The camera itself is completely mechanical and does not require batteries.
A nice working example of a classic British-made Kodak box camera from the late 1950s.
No film included.
