Vintage Industar-50-2 50mm f/3.5 M42 screw-mount lens, made in the USSR.
Serial number 7285037, dating this example to approximately 1972.
The Industar-50-2 is an extremely compact manual-focus pancake lens based on the classic Tessar optical design. Its M42 screw mount makes it suitable for a wide range of vintage SLR cameras and it can also be adapted for use on many modern mirrorless cameras.
The lens is in good overall condition, with noticeable cosmetic signs of age and previous use to the exterior body.
The optics have been inspected and there is no fungus present.
Please note that the aperture ring is a little on the loose side, although it still adjusts correctly and functions as it should.
The focusing and aperture controls are operational.
