Please note that on the Cosina CT1G, the film-advance lever also acts as the shutter-button safety lock.

Cosina CT1G 35mm Manual SLR Film Camera
A classic Japanese manual-focus 35mm SLR dating from around 1982.
The Cosina CT1G is a straightforward fully manual SLR featuring the popular Pentax K bayonet lens mount, allowing it to be used with a wide range of compatible K-mount manual-focus lenses.
The camera features a fully mechanical metal focal-plane shutter with speeds from 1 second through to 1/1000 second plus Bulb mode. Because the shutter is mechanical, the camera can still take photographs without batteries.
Two LR44 batteries are included only for the built-in TTL exposure meter.
The viewfinder incorporates a split-image focusing aid and microprism collar to assist with accurate manual focusing, while the built-in centre-weighted light meter provides LED exposure guidance.
The film-advance lever also acts as a shutter safety lock. When the lever is folded fully against the camera body, the shutter release is locked and the meter is switched off. Pulling the lever slightly outward into its standby position unlocks the shutter button and activates the meter.
