The details matter when you’re recreating a particular era. A family holiday in the 1960s calls for something quite different from a press photographer in the 1980s or a teenager’s digital camera in the early 2000s.

Working cameras and display props
Different scenes need different levels of functionality.
Working cameras: For scenes where the camera needs to be operated, tell us exactly what it must do. You might need the shutter to fire, the film advance to move, the flash to work or the camera to take photographs. Testing status is described individually, and we can discuss any additional checks before purchase.
Display and non-working cameras: For background dressing, shelf displays and static props, a fully working camera may be unnecessary. Where available, our clearly described untested or non-working stock can offer an affordable option.
Multiple cameras: If you need several cameras for a display or matching examples for continuity, let us know the quantity and deadline. Availability varies, and matching items cannot always be guaranteed.

Our cameras are available to purchase. We do not currently offer a camera hire service.
Can I buy just one camera?
Yes. Enquiries are welcome for individual cameras as well as larger requirements.
Can you help choose a camera for a particular decade?
Yes. Tell us the setting and share any visual references. We can help identify suitable models from available stock and explain their approximate production dates.
Will the camera work?
Please check the individual listing. We sell cameras with different testing and condition statuses, including working examples and items clearly sold as untested or for spares and repair. If your scene depends on a particular function, please discuss it with us before buying.
Are film and batteries included?
No film is included. Battery requirements and whether batteries are supplied are stated in each listing. Some older cameras operate without batteries, while others require them for the shutter, meter or flash.
Can you provide additional photographs?
Please tell us which views or details you need. We can discuss additional photographs of the camera itself to help your team assess its suitability.
Can you guarantee a specific model or matching cameras?
Availability depends on current stock. We welcome requests, but please contact us to confirm before planning around a particular model or quantity.
Do you accept returns?
We offer a 30-day return policy, subject to our published returns terms. Purchases for production use are subject to the same terms; the returns policy is not a hire arrangement.
